Eight Children In Shahumyan Village Receive Assistance

Dear friends,

Today we visited eight children living in the Shahumyan village with their parents. The family resides in someone else's dilapidated house and are raising one of the children as their own after his father abandoned him and his mother was unable to care for him due to a mental illness. We took the family countless gifts, including a refrigerator, washing machine, iron and electric kettle, and two double beds so that several children don't have to share one mattress. We also brought animals that will serve as food and income for the family, including a pig, two sheep, and 50 chickens. By the end of November we will also deliver them a cow! Due to technical difficulties, we were not able to do so today. We also took the family an abundance of perishable and non-perishable food to last them many months!

Due to our collective work, another family in extreme hardship now has food, a means to stay warm through the whole winter, and, most importantly, a source of income. Because of your generosity these parents now have means to provide all their children with a better life. God bless you all!
