Firewood and Coats to 110 Families In Tavush Province - 2/21/21

Updated: Jan 8, 2022

Aid Beyond Borders continued distribution of firewood to families in villages of Tavush Province during one of the coldest winters in Armenia. 110 Families from 14 different villages now have enough firewood to last them through winter. The distribution took almost 20 days, because of bad weather conditions that did not allow us to move our trucks in because of too much snow and snow storms. These Villages include: Aygepar, Verin Tsaxkavan , Paravaqar, Varagavan, Navur, Itsaqar, Chinchin, Nerqin Karmir Aghbyur, Norashen, Movses, Artsvaberd, Aygedzor, Chinari, Choratan, and City of Berd. As you may have known, the winter of 2020-2021 recorded temperatures from -10 to -40 degrees Centigrade. Most families did not have anything to warm their homes. During this time, our team was able to warm 110 families at the same time, distributing warm coats to children who didn't have them. Thank you all who contributed to this very imporatnt mission! God Bless!
