In Loving Memory of Krikor Astourian, in lieu of flowers, donations were made to our charity that enabled us to save this family from poverty.
Our team visited a family in Arevashogh Village, Lori Province, where 8 underage children live. Our visit to the family made a huge difference.
We gave them a pregnant cow so that they could provide the family with milk and dairy products in addition to making and selling dairy products for profit.
Before our visit, most of the children slept on the floor and others on the open sofa and the children's clothes were in bags in the corner of their room. So, we gave them 3 bunk beds and 2 big closets, so that the children's clothes could be stored in them. In addition, to make life easier for the family, we gave them a refrigerator, a washing machine, an electric kettle, food to last them for a very, very long time, clothes for all members of the family, and toys for the children. The older girl was especially happy, who mentioned that she already has a separate bed, a closet, she can do her homework in one separate room, and sleep there too.
We hope that in the near future this family will overcome from this socially insecure situation and they will be able to live a prosperous life.
