This visit was made possible by donations collected in honor of 2 birthdays: Aliyah's and Melanie's. We were again in Lusaghbyur village, this time visited Anna Madoyan's family, where one of her sons was still in the front line and there was no word from him. Everyone was not in such a good mood since there was no news from him for a long time. Within a few minutes of our team's visit, he called and said that everything was fine with him. There was a minute where everyone in the room was both crying and celebrating.
Anna's husband is a shepherd, they have 5 children and they are engaged in farming, but since the livestock is not theirs, the income is not much, sometimes not even covering their food.
During our visit, we gave them a pregnant cow, which will give them fresh milk(15 liters) and other dairy products every day and in 2 months a baby calf will be born. We also installed natural gas at their home since they had no gas. This will help them stay a bit warmer this and many winters in the future. In addition, we gave the family a refrigerator, a washing machine, a gas stove, an electric kettle in addition to a lot of food which will last them about 1 year.
To say that the family was happy is to say nothing. Everyone was very happy and assured that from now on they will start living better thanks to generous donation from the friends and family of Aliyah and Melianie.
Thank you for making this happen for them, we all wish you a happy birthday! Thanks for blessing this family with things that they will cherish for many years to come. With these blessings came the most important blessing... they heard from their son, from whom there was no word for the past 3 weeks.
